Quantum Leap Cast

30th April 1959: Sam leaps into Davey Parker, one half of the double-act ‘Parker and MacKay’, right in the middle of a stage routine with his partner, Mack. When Sam causes the act to bomb, they are saved by the timely interruption of Frankie Washarskie, nightclub waitress and Mack’s girlfriend – but then the hot-headed Mack gets into a fight with a heckler, and the trio are promptly fired by the nightclub’s owner. However, Davey, Mack and Frankie’s luck changes again when they are given the chance to perform at the ‘Golden Sands’ nightclub in Las Vegas by its owner, Carlo DeGorio. Learning from Al Sam that Mack is destined to disappear under mysterious circumstances in two days’ time, Sam suspects that the comedian’s death may have something to do with DeGorio’s connections to the mob. As the three performers travel to Vegas Sam tries to convince Mack to turn their double-act into a triple-act, but he is hampered by Mack and Frankie’s continual fighting; Sam is puzzled, until Al points out that the two are in love, but haven’t realised it yet. Then things get even more complicated when the trio arrive at the ‘Golden Sands’ and DeGorio starts hitting on Frankie…
